NYC Department of Education is the department of the government of New York City that manages the city's public school system. The City School District is the largest school system in the United States, with over 1.1 million students taught in more than 1,800 schools.

The Office of Equity & Access (OEA) was a newly formed office to address equity in DOE programming citywide. While here, I  led and managed a cross-functional team of 5+ consultants and provided formal oversight of operational strategy and processes for AP for All, a signature mayoral initiative to create equity and access across DOE for student enrollment in AP courses.

Key Accomplishments:
− Managed end-to-end development of the AP for All website, reaching 400+ schools across the DOE and serving x school leaders, teachers, AP coordinators, and teacher leaders with centralized workshop access, dynamic updates, and a comprehensive library of AP curriculum/resources
− Led 50+ professional development workshops to date for 18 DOE staff as part of an ongoing weekly series focused on developing team understanding of educational equity strategy, best practices, and implementation
